New Team USA jerseys. What do you guys think, better than the last one?
Nike has unveiled the Hyper Elite uniforms that Team USA Basketball will be wearing when they take the court at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Featuring 2008 Gold Medalists Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Deron Williams, Tamika Catchings and 2010 FIBA World Champion Kevin Durant, the uniforms are a slight tweak from their previous Nike uniforms with an updated USA logo.

Note: Landry Fields graduated from Stanford, Lin from Harvard. Way to set the bar super high for all Asian parents, Jeremy.

Alex Kennedy of Hoops World is reporting that the Los Angeles Lakers have expressed in an interest in Gilbert Arenas. Arenas was waived by the Orlando Magic in early December and has been a free agent since then.
Arenas could potentially fill the athletic void in the current Lakers line up, but it would seem like the Lakers would benefit more from signing a player like Aaron Brooks once he completes his season in China.
